Free shipping is available for most residential addresses in the US. However, if your address is in a rural or hard-to-reach area—such as remote zones or locations with special access requirements like narrow roads or ferry services—additional shipping fees may apply. If this is the case, we’ll reach out to you for approval before proceeding with your order. At that point, you can choose to either accept the additional fees or cancel your order, in which case we will issue a full refund immediately

For customers receiving goods via LTL, there are certain challenging shipping locations, such as islands requiring ferry transport. Examples include offshore islands, remote mountain hideaways, and other areas far from metropolitan centers or deliveries into Gated Communities. The shipping costs to these locations necessitate an additional fee to cover the extra expenses incurred. This also applies to densely populated urban centers like New York City and Miami Beach.

Additional fees may apply, especially for deliveries to islands that require ferry transport. If there are additional charges applicable to your order, we will notify you before processing it. This allows you the option to cancel your order without incurring any cancellation fees. If additional charges are necessary, we will inform you via email and/or telephone. Your order will be placed on hold until we receive your response regarding whether to proceed with the order or cancel it.

All our spa covers include the following standard features:
    • Four heavy duty hurricane straps (tie downs) to ensure durability.
    • Two Premium Heavy Duty reinforced and recessed handles
    • 6 mil plastic heat-sealed vapor barriers
    • True Marine Grade 30oz Vinyl with Mildew and UV Inhibitors.
    • 22-gauge galvanized C-channels inside the hinge for added durability
    • Reinforcement in all high-stress areas
    • Breathable Chemical Resistant 10oz Thick Solid Under-liner.
    • Thick vapor barrier heat sealed (as opposed to competitors using standard clear tape which allows the foam to get water logged)
R-value is a measure of resistance to heat flow through a given thickness of material. In theory, the higher the R-value, the greater that resistance. In the context of hot tub covers, the term "R-value" refers to the measure of thermal resistance that the cover provides. Essentially, it indicates how effective the cover is at insulating and preventing heat loss from the hot tub water to the surrounding environment. A higher R-value means that the cover has better insulation properties, which helps in maintaining the temperature of the water in the hot tub. This is particularly important to consider because better insulation can lead to energy savings by reducing the need for heating the water as frequently. When choosing a hot tub cover, looking at the R-value is important to ensure that it meets your energy efficiency needs and helps in keeping your hot tub water warm for longer periods without excessive energy consumption.
Our Styrofoam inserts are made of Virgin EPS Styrofoam, not reground or recycled. When the foam inserts are manufactured the foam beads are poured into a mold and then compressed resulting in a large block of foam that is cut to eventually become your foam inserts. During this process the higher density foam molds receive more of the foam bead material and when compressed the result is denser, stronger foam. Our foam inserts come in 3 different densities - 1lb, 1.5lb and 2lb. The higher the density you choose the more strength and insulation your spa cover will have.

In the context of hot tub covers, such as 4x2, 5x3, and 6x4, these numbers typically refer to the thickness and density of the foam core used in the cover. Here’s what they generally mean:

4x2: This notation indicates that the foam core inside the hot tub cover is 4 inches thick in the center and tapers down to 2 inches thick at the edges. This type of cover construction is designed to provide adequate insulation while reducing weight and bulkiness around the edges.

5x3: Similarly, this notation signifies that the foam core is 5 inches thick in the center and tapers down to 3 inches thick at the edges. This configuration also aims to balance insulation with weight and size considerations.

6x4: This indicates a foam core that is 6 inches thick in the center and tapers down to 4 inches thick at the edges. Covers with this specification offer more insulation capability due to the thicker core, which helps in maintaining the hot tub water temperature more effectively.

These specifications are crucial for understanding the insulation properties and overall performance of a hot tub cover. Thicker foam cores generally provide better insulation and thermal resistance (higher R-value), which can help in reducing energy costs associated with heating the hot tub water. However, they may also increase the weight and bulk of the cover, which can affect ease of handling and storage.

When choosing a hot tub cover, it's important to consider your climate, energy efficiency goals, and practical considerations such as weight and durability to select the most suitable thickness and density (expressed as 4x2, 5x3, 6x4, etc.) for your needs.
Yes. The skirting is continuous. However, we are happy to accommodate any special requests.
The short answer is YES - It's crucial to have someone present during delivery to inspect your spa cover for any damage. If you leave a note authorizing the driver to leave the cover despite potential damage, you accept full responsibility for it. This means you'll need to handle any freight claims directly with the shipping company if damage is discovered later.

If the freight company can't reach you to schedule delivery and decides to dispose of the cover, you won't receive a refund or replacement. Therefore, ensure you provide an active phone number for scheduling purposes.

Remember, all spa covers must be thoroughly inspected before signing the delivery receipt. If the box shows visible damage, open it and check the cover. If it's damaged, do not sign for it. Instead, refuse the shipment.

If you or someone on your behalf accepts a damaged cover without noting the damage on the delivery receipt or obtaining an exception number, you'll be responsible for filing a freight claim directly with the carrier.

If your cover is damaged and you refuse delivery or receive an exception number with noted damage, contact the seller promptly. They will arrange to ship a replacement within 10 business days and handle the freight claim.

If your cover is delivered without a signature, notify the seller within 48 hours to file a damage claim. Waiting beyond this period may result in the carrier refusing all claims, making the sale final.

Please be sure to provide a contact number that you can be reached at so shipping carrier can contact you prior to delivery to schedule an appointment window for when your order will be delivered.
You must refuse delivery of any damaged freight and contact us.
We use and recommend 303 Aerospace Protectant for vinyl care. Unlike many commercial vinyl cleaners and protectors that are petroleum based, this water based spray on protector is specifically developed as a UV screening protective treatment for maintaining vinyl. “It’s like having SPF 40 for your spa cover”.
